Agri-vie invests in Tanzania

Agri-Vie, the sub-Saharan private equity fund investing in food and agribusiness, has taken an equity investment of R50m into Tanzania Food Corporation, the owners of Mtanga Farms in Southern Tanzania, said. Agri-View managing partner Herman Marais said the acquisition followed fast-growing consumer demand for processed beef products.
