Facebook, Waze end ‘discussions’

Facebook has reportedly pulled out of negotiations with mobile application (app) provider Waze, opening the door for a possible Google offer. All Things D reported yesterday that talks between Facebook and the crowd-sourced mapping app Waze, predominantly used in Israel, fell apart after months of effort. The two had reportedly been negotiating a $1bn deal.
