Healthcare probe is delayed

The market inquiry into the private healthcare sector by the Competition Commission is expected to start only in November. Earlier this year the draft terms of reference indicated that the inquiry would start this month. “This delay is attributed to extensive consultation with relevant stakeholders,” said Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr associate Leana Engelbrecht.
