HOW ARE WE DOING?

Total income generated by the food and beverages industry in SA rose 4.2% in nominal terms year on year in June, data from Statistics SA showed yesterday. A positive annual growth rate was recorded for food sales (5.9%). The main contributors were fast-food outlets, restaurants and coffee shops.
