Massmart rises ahead of results

RETAIL Massmart, whose interim results for the 26 weeks ended June 29 are scheduled for release next Thursday, rose 3.51% to R149.05 yesterday. The retailer said last month it would report total sales increased to R35.7bn, representing growth of 10.2% over the prior 26-week period.
