Mercedes to train more artisans

SKILLS Mercedes-Benz SA is investing R130m in a new training academy for artisans in a bid to curb youth unemployment. CEO Arno van der Merwe said yesterday the group had signed an agreement with the Treasury to set up an academy, with a view to providing a pool of trained artisans for the company and its suppliers.
