Metair seeks full ownership

Metair said yesterday it applied on Monday to the Capital Markets Board of Turkey to implement a “squeeze out” of minorities holding the remaining 0.98% of Mutlu Aku shares it does not own, following the close of its buyout offer last Friday. The South African vehicle parts maker announced its $217m acquisition of the Turkish battery maker in October 2013.
