Klopp signs on for £4m a year

Jürgen Klopp agreed yesterday to become troubled Liverpool’s new manager and was expected at the club later in the day, British media said. Sky television said Klopp, 48, had agreed to become manager. The Daily Mail newspaper said Klopp would sign a threeyear deal under which he would earn more than £4m a year.
