Seacom to cut out middleman

Seacom, which operates an underwater internet cable that links Africa to Europe and Asia, plans to sell broadband directly to businesses in Africa. The move marks a change of strategy for Seacom, which sells bandwidth to companies, such as MTN and Vodacom, which then sell it on.
