Altria gets less from SABMiller

EARNINGS US cigarette group Altria, which owns 27% of SABMiller, reported yesterday the brewer had contributed $66m to its March quarter earnings, half last year’s matching period of $134m. SABMiller said this was due to special items, primarily relating to asset impairment charges in Africa that it would report in its March quarter results.
