Credit life insurance regulations on cards

Regulations to restrict the selling of credit life insurance would be ready for promulgation towards the end of September or October if approved by Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan, Department of Trade and Industry official MacDonald Netshitenzhe told MPs yesterday. The draft regulations were drawn up by an interdepartmental committee following widespread complaints about mis-selling of these policies.
