Tshwane targets water cuts

Tshwane has become the latest municipality to announce water restrictions. Darryl Moss‚ mayoral committee member for service infrastructure‚ and Stephen Notoane‚ executive director for water and sanitation, said the metro was obliged to cut water consumption by 15%. Irrigation is prohibited from 6am to 6pm. The washing of cars using hosepipes is banned.
