SA maize fu­tures in 3.5% fall

South African white-corn fu­tures fell the most in more than 14 months as im­ports of the grain eased con­cern about in­suf­fi­cient sup­ply and as drought hurts lo­cal pro­duc­tion, bro­kers BVG said. White corn for De­cem­ber de­liv­ery dropped 3.5%, the most since July 2 2015, to R4,110 a tonne on the South African Fu­tures Ex­change.
