Brait eyes UK for primary listing

Investment heavyweight Brait intended to seek a primary listing in London to boost its profile and tap deeper pools of capital, it said on Wednesday. The owner of gym chain Virgin Active and UK budget clothes retailer New Look, Brait said it would also move its head office to the UK from Malta. The board agreed to retain Brait’s secondary listing on the JSE for South African investors.
