Protector’s state capture probe gains momentum

THE Cabinet secretary has five working days in which to comply with the public protector’s investigation into state capture, and Minister in the Presidency Jeff Radebe has confirmed to Business Day that it will comply. The public protector has served the secretary of Cabinet with a subpoena to provide the declarations of Cabinet members and the minutes of Cabinet from November 2015 to April 2016.
