Draft bills open for comment

The Cabinet has approved for public comment the publication of draft bills on liquor and gambling. Minister in the Presidency Jeff Radebe said the National Liquor Amendment Bill would be released together with the final national liquor policy. The bill addresses the socioeconomic impact of liquor, the slow pace of transformation, standardisation of key aspects of regulation and improved regulatory collaboration.
