Apartheid-era laws set to get the boot

Parliament is on track to review and possibly repeal 1,850 apartheid-era laws. In 2016, the National Assembly Programming Committee mandated Parliamentary legal services to identify all apartheid-era laws or sections in legislation that could be inconsistent with the Constitution. The legal advisers submitted their report on Thursday.
