Cape Town water reserves on display

The City of Cape Town is displaying water crisis warnings on electronic freeway signboards that indicate how much water the metro has left. The city has decreased the total daily water consumption target from 800-million litres to 700-million litres. The city now has 135 days’ water left in dams.
