Bonanza sale for bargain hunters

Park Village Auctions (PVA) will next week bring to market trucks, trailers, vehicles, workshop equipment and office furnishings stemming from the liquidation of a national road freight concern.

Truck tractors, trailers and vehicles to be auctioned include 17 International 9800 truck tractors, two 2012 Freightliner Argosy truck tractors, a 1996 Peterbilt truck tractor, a Toyota diesel forklift, 23 assorted flat deck link, step deck and tri-axle trailers from manufacturers such as UBT, Roadhog, SA Truck Bodies, Paramount, Henred Fruehauf and BDJ Bodies, a 2015 Mercedes Benz C180, a 2015 Ford Ranger 2.2 Single Cab LDV, a 2012 Nissan NP200 1.6 and a 2010 Toyota Fortuner 3.0 D4D.

Workshop equipment comprises a 50 Kva generator, a MAM 880 screw compressor, an above-ground diesel tank, a hydraulic shop press, a battery bank charger, trolleys, hand tools, acetylene sets, welders, a collection of new spare parts, workbenches and assorted containers.

Office equipment includes boardroom tables, executive desks and chairs, desktop computers, credenzas, printers, a Samsung TV, filing cabinets, a bulk filler, shelving, fridges and a microwave. “This auction is sure to pique the interest of players in the goods transportation sector.

“The auction also represents an opportunity for workshop owners to get their hands on quality equipment without breaking the bank,” says PVA’s LeRoy Augustyn.

The auction will be on-site at 4 Flamink Road, Alrode, Alberton on Tuesday February 27 at 10.30am. Viewing will take place at the same location on Friday and Monday from 10am to 4pm.
