Malaysian premier in fight for survival

Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak’s governing coalition has lost more ground on the eve of Wednesday’s general election but could still win enough parliament­ary seats to cling on to power, a survey by an independen­t polling firm found. Scandal-hit Najib, whose Barisan Nasional alliance has ruled Malaysia for more than six decades, is pitted against his former mentor, Mahathir Mohamad. /
