Low-mileage trucks for sale
Park Village Auctions (PVA) will host its next commercial vehicle auction on June 28.
Division director LeRoy Augustyn says the auction will feature quality, low-mileage used vehicles, a factor that may interest fleet operators in the wake of rising fuel costs.
“In times like these buyers are looking for assurance of quality and value more than ever,” says Augustyn.
“One of the main reasons our [truck and trailer] auctions consistently draw the crowds is because PVA sells genuine, bank-repossessed commercial vehicles,” he says.
The auction, which will start at 10.30am at the company’s truck yard in Nasrec, in the south of Johannesburg, will feature a large collection of trucks, trailers, agricultural and earthmoving equipment.
Bidders can expect to find rigid trucks and truck tractors from vehicle manufacturers such as Freightliner, Hino, International, Mercedes-Benz, Isuzu, Iveco, Mitsubishi Fuso, Nissan, Renault, Scania, Tata, Toyota Dyna and Volvo, as well as various MAN combinations.
Under the banner of trailers and earth-moving equipment, assets include flat-deck link trailers, SA Truck Bodies, Henred Fruehauf, Afrit and Motor Trail flat-deck link trailers, skeletal, curtain-side trailers and side-tipper trailers, Tautliner trailers, skid-steer loaders, excavators and backhoe loaders.
