RCL Foods stock slides on warning
RCL Foods shares slumped 12.5% on Thursday after the owner of Selati, Mageu Number 1 and Yum Yum brands said it expected interim earnings to fall more than 28% due to difficulties in its sugar and chicken businesses. The company, which is majority owned by investment firm Remgro, said it expected headline earnings per share for the six months ended December 2018 to be down between 28.9% and 23.5%, compared to the same period in 2017.
