Lanseria warehouse, offices up for grabs

-

Park Village Auctions (PVA) will bring to market a warehouse office building near Lanseria airport on March 7, and PVA’s Jaco du Toit says the auction is sure to attract buyers from the transport, logistics and distribution fraternity.

The sale of a farm portion with a warehouse and office building is a prime investment opportunity, he says.

“Commercial real estate in the Lanseria area, with storage and distribution facilities particularly, will most likely demand handsome prices in the near future. The transport and logistics sector is booming, while the Fourways precinct upgrades are under way and there is still talk of the Lanseria airport city coming to fruition.

“This property enjoys the ideal location as a distribution centre, it is located 7km from Lanseria International Airport, 13km from Fourways and offers convenient access to the R512 and N14 highway.”

Du Toit says the property at 40 Main Street is located just off Middle Road in Lanseria.

It features a warehouse building with a double-volume warehouse floor area, internal store, seven private offices, a boardroom and cloakrooms with a shower. It has an office building with a reception foyer, a boardroom, an open-plan office, kitchen and cloakrooms.

Other notable features include staff rooms with a bedsitter unit, a guesthouse, a small braai area, a security office, a gas-bottle storage facility and an equipped borehole.

With ample room to expand, the improvements measure 939m² on a stand size of about 2.22ha. The auction, starting at 11am on Thursday, March 7, will be held on site at 40 Main Street, Lanseria, with viewing taking place one hour prior.
