Pro-ANC argument wrong
While columnist Peter Bruce is persuasive in his arguments in support of the ANC, he is wrong.
It can be accepted that the ANC will win the election and that Cyril Ramaphosa will be president again. However, if that arrogant, nondelivering and corrupt political organisation wins by a substantial majority, it will undoubtedly lead to the entrenchment of the Zuma/Magashule grouping in parliament and corruption will continue.
If the ANC majority is slim, it will give pause to the corrupt. Indeed, the DA could enter into a pact with the Ramaphosa faction to continue cleaning the Augean stables of the Zuma droppings.
The alternative is that the Zuma faction is joined by the EFF, Ramaphosa is deposed and his small group of honest supporters removed.
