Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund is making a fresh investment worth £70.4m in Newcastle United a year after the club was bought for £450m. Since the acquisition Newcastle has brought in a new coach and players and is enjoying a successful season, sitting third in the table after a string of impressive performances.
