FNB clients swipe on Black Friday
FNB has reported the highest level of Black Friday expenditure by its customers in four years. The FirstRand-owned retail bank says its customers made more than R3bn in purchases on Black Friday, with R2.4bn spent in-store and R670m on online shopping. FNB Virtual Cards also saw a significant increase in spending, accounting for over R137m in purchases compared with just R36m on 2021’s Black Friday.
