Co­mair Flight Ser­vices has taken delivery of a brand new Pi­la­tus PC-12 NG on be­half of one of its clients and fer­ried it to its new home in Johannesburg. The ferry flight was a to­tal of 23.2 hours tak­ing the air­craft (with its new owner on board) from the fac­tory in Stans (Switzer­land) via Her­ak­lion (Crete), Cairo and Luxor (Egypt), Khar­toum (Su­dan), Kil­i­man­jaro (Tan­za­nia) and Vic­to­ria Falls (Zim­babwe). CFS op­er­ates five Legacy PC-12s and six PC-12 NGs, mak­ing this air­craft CFS's 11th PC-12 be­ing op­er­ated on char­ter. The com­pany has PC-12s based in Johannesburg (at both O.R. Tambo In­ter­na­tional Air­port and Lanse­ria In­ter­na­tional Air­port), Cape Town and Kim­ber­ley.
