Renaming streets

I lived in Langalibel­ele Road in the 1950s before the Nats changed it to Lansdowne Road. I’m glad our mayor is going to restore it. – Peter

I strongly object to dropping the name of Jan Smuts, our greatest statesman. Even Mandela comes a poor second.

Why do we want to change road names? The number of shack fires is one reason we should be building houses instead.

Who is Vanguard Drive named after? It seems an apolitical, innocent name.
