While not demeaning other heroes, I perceive Ashley Kriel as one of the greatest unsung heroes of the struggle for liberation. His story was relayed to me by a fellow student activist,Mervin, at UWC in the late 1990s. Long live the spirit of our fallen hero, long live! May his family get the justice they deserve.
