Hout Bay is proud of you

HOUT Bay Civic Association wishes to congratulate Hout Bay United Football Community (HBUFC) for winning promotion to the Safa ABC Motsepe League (National Third Division).

We extend congratulations to #HBUFC on behalf of the people of Hout Bay. The Hout Bay football community made history by beating their opposition 2-0 and becoming the first Hout Bay football club to earn promotion into the ABC Motespe League.

We commend #HBUFC for bringing the community of Hout Bay together behind their vision of a United Football Community.

Therefore we say #WeAreHBUFC. The success of the team in the Safa SAB provincial playoff comes at a time when young people are being killed in our community, and we call on the youth to look at these players for inspiration and to keep clear of gangs, drugs and other social ills.

HBCA wants to thank former Bafana Bafana Striker and club coach Bradley August for leading the team to their success, and wish him well in the season ahead. As a community we are behind him 110%.
