Education system set up to fail

-

EDUCATION is structurally flawed. Periods break the flow of learning and external assessments create fears.

Standardisation of 30% saps 90% of the resources and education advisory skills, leaving 70% of pupils and teachers unsupported.

Peer-grouping is a breeding ground for bullying and gangsterism.

Constant changes in the curriculum and assessment criteria to raise pass levels disorient the education delivery (moving the goalposts while everyone is running to score).

Bureaucracy and management styles aim to control and monitor rather that serve all.

Solutions are sought with archaic tools of industrialised educational models that are capitalistic, market-related and not child-centred.

If schools and matric marks are adjusted to fit a standard for political reasons and matrics cannot get jobs, then the national external examination has lost is purpose and value and should then be abolished – allowing all to venture in developing the understanding of concepts and skills at their own pace. Educational systems are based on mistrust, because authorities work on fears and then lack the time, skills and abilities to be creative in advancing education.

I have worked on a solution since 1989 and have a complete package which is now available – by God’s Grace. It’s inexpensive, qualitative, holistic and advanced.
