Another bomb rocks Somalia
MOGADISHU: A roadside bomb killed five people in Somalia, police said yesterday, just over a week after the country suffered its worst terrorist attack.
Six others were injured when the bomb ripped through a minibus taxi, according to Somali police officer Ahmed Sahal. The blast took place in a village 30km south-west of the capital Mogadishu. Four women were reported among the dead.
No group has claimed responsibility. The area has seen continued fighting between al-Shabaab militants and the Somali government.
