Protest over child’s death
KABUL: The death of an Afghan child in a traffic accident allegedly caused by Nato forces in Kabul sparked a protest yesterday near the US Embassy and Nato’s Resolute Support mission headquarters.
The child was killed near the headquarters of the Resolute Support mission in an accident involving a convoy of foreign forces, said an Afghan Interior Ministry spokesperson. The incident sparked a protest near the US Embassy and the Nato mission headquarters, with police firing warning shots. – dpa
