Mugg & Bean raises R1m for cancer

MUGG & Bean has raised more than R1 million for the Cupcakes 4 Kids with Cancer initiative.

“This inspiring initiative by Cupcakes of Hope happens every year in September and prides itself on helping children with cancer and their families by providing financial and emotional support. There have been many success stories over the years,” said the company.

Since 2012, Mugg & Bean has donated the proceeds from cupcake sales but this year it has been all about their giant muffins.

For every giant muffin sold, R5 was donated to Cupcakes 4 Kids with Cancer.

“We are so blessed and overwhelmed by the continued support and love we receive from Mugg & Bean.

“We plan on using these funds to continue helping families with their daily needs and medical expenses – especially prosthetic limbs or eyes,” said founder of Cupcakes of Hope, Sandy Cipriano.
