Rassie boosts Boks with experience
THE Springboks have rolled out their big guns as they try to get their European tour back on track.
The Boks went down 12-11 to England last week, but Bok coach Rassie Erasmus recalled several established campaigners for the game against France in Paris tomorrow night.
Star scrumhalf Faf de Klerk is back to direct operations in the No 9 jersey, while experienced fullback Willie le Roux also returns.
Cape fans will be happy to know that little dynamo Cheslin Kolbe is on the bench.
“It’s good to have the experienced players back in the starting team for France,” said Erasmus.
“‘I thought Damian (Willemse) and Ivan (Van Zyl) did very well last week, but you need as much experience as possible playing away from home.
“We are building squad depth for the World Cup and they will be back in the mix as the tour progresses.”
