- Staff Reporter

AFRICAN Equity Empowerment Investments Limited (AEEI) and its subsidiary Health Systems Technologies (HST) are hosting their 16th Annual Charity Golf Day on April 11 at the Rondebosch Golf Club.

The competition will be a 4-ball alliance with two scores to count on all holes. The cost is R4 000 per 4 ball, including green fees, halfway house, prize-giving and snacks.

“The aim of the golf day is to raise and donate much-needed funds to a chosen hospital each year, as part of our corporate social responsibility programme for the upliftment of our public hospitals and clinics,” AEEI chief executive Khalid Abdulla said.

“To date we have donated more than R1.5 million.

“Due to your generous donations last year at our 15th Charity Golf Day, we raised R110 000 in aid of Paarl Hospital.

“This year the money raised will be donated to Knysna Hospital.”

AEEI and HST are inviting sponsors to come forward and be part of this initiative.

“Your company will have the opportunity to display branding material at the event and to conduct appropriate promotions at the holes,” the group said.

Confirm your participation by emailing Yvette Davids at Yvette@aeei. co.za or Sihaam Abdulla at Sihaam@ healthsystems.co.za by close of business on March 26.
