Three reasons to vote for the DA

- GARY JAMES | Llandudno

I THINK it is fair to say that, come May 9 – either the ANC, DA or EFF will, to a greater or lesser degree, be in control of the Western Cape. Yes, there will be those who vote for other parties, as is their right, but these parties will have a minimal impact on how this province is run. So my advice to all voters is this. Ask yourself three questions when deciding who to vote for:

◆ Does your party of choice have a proven track record of clean governance, free of corruption?

◆ Do they have a proven track record of job creation?

◆ Do they have a proven track record of providing reliable and efficient service delivery at municipal level?

I think you will find that the only party that can answer yes to the above is the DA. So never mind the annoying SMSes, the petty billboards, the De Lille saga and their overly strident criticism of other parties. These are comparatively trivial issues.

The fact remains that when it comes to honest, efficient and effective governance, the DA remains head and shoulders above the rest.
