Making a difference together

PEOPLE sleeping on the streets, begging, or pushing trolleys have become such a familiar sight that most people don’t stop to think how the person got to be homeless. With more than 7 000 homeless adults in Cape Town alone, World Homeless Day is a good time to reflect on homelessness and what we could be doing to really help. Supporting the homeless to just stay where they are, all too often merely increases their alienation.

Real help gets him home!

Together we can make a difference! The Haven Night Shelters offer up to 30 days free stay (sponsored via Buy a Bed campaign), to homeless adults.

Please consider volunteering or contributing goods in kind donations; we share excess donations with other NGO’s and even families in need. Consider the Haven “buy a bed campaign” or join the Haven Debit order program by calling 021 425 4700 or email info@haven.org.za
