Back in business
LONDON: The former leader of Britain’s opposition Labour, Ed Miliband, has returned to frontline politics after being appointed the party’s business, energy and industrial spokesperson by new leader Keir Starmer.
Labour leader for nearly five years, Miliband resigned after his party’s 2015 election defeat but has remained a Member of Parliament since. “We cannot go back to business as usual after this crisis. We’ll need to reshape our economy, addressing workers’ insecurity… and focus on climate change.”
