DStv now charging the same for less

DID you notice DStv has quietly taken off channels 123 (ITV Choice) and 108 (Sundance films) which in my opinion, are the only two channels that provided us with good quality drama series and films.

We are left with channels 119 to 122, which give us 20-year-old repeats and/or game shows, and channels 102 to 118, which give us children’s/horror/science fiction films or ones with excessive violence.

On contacting the DStv customer service I was told its agreement with ITV Choice and Sundance had ended but there were equal offerings on the other channels.

When asked in writing what those other channels were, I was advised: “Please note we do not have any replacement channels.”

So it seems DStv cannot offer me any good films or drama series to watch… pretty poor for R849 per month. PENNY GEYSER | Hout Bay
