Three life terms for raping sister, cousins
THE EASTERN Cape High Court in Ntanbankulu, Mthatha, has sentenced a 31-year-old man to three life terms after he was convicted of raping his sister and two cousins.
He cannot be named to protect the identity of his victims.
The court heard he was caught “red-handed” on July 12, 2014, by his teenage cousin while he was raping his 14-year-old sister at their Mahlabathini Village home in Mount Fletcher district.
The cousin told their grandmother and a neighbour, who is a health professional.
The neighbour called the police. During police questioning, the victim revealed the brother had raped her before. |
