Couple arrested for manufacturing tik

THE Pretoria Magistrate’s Court has remanded 44-year-old Anaechi Okwudili Eneh and his wife Tsakani Carol Baloyi, 33, in custody on charges of manufacturing and dealing in drugs, the Hawks said yesterday.

“The couple was arrested on Saturday at their residence in Centurion following a search-and-seizure operation conducted by the Hawks’ serious organised crime investigation and crime intelligence counter narcotics,” spokesperson Katlego Mogale said.

She said the investigation team discovered a drug laboratory and illicit crystal meth and methaquolone with an estimated value of R2.5 million.

The case has been postponed until Friday for a bail application.
