ANC imploding again as Zuma queries Ramaphosa’s ‘moral authority’

-

The ANC is imploding – yet again!

This time the intense factionalism and root cause of the crisis is widespread corruption among cadres, especially those in high places.

And now that president Ramaphosa has the courage and balls to root out the rot of corruption in the ANC, his “guilt ridden” predecessor, former president Zuma, is fighting back, questioning Ramaphosa’s “moral authority”.

Zuma’s militaristic fightback campaign is strategic to deflect the attention off his own Guptagate corruption charges he’s facing in the Zondo Commission.

The onslaught against Ramaphosa’s leadership came during the ANC’s NEC meeting, and as a result of his scathing letter to ANC members regarding the epidemic of corruption plaguing the ANC, and requesting those members “guilty” of corrupt conduct to “step aside”.

The victims of this corrupt criminality and those suffering the most are the poorest of the poor South Africans.

The only way that president Ramaphosa is able to gain any credibility for the ruling party is to hold his ground and go the “Full Monty”. He must stick to his guns about ending corruption and impose his “moral authority”.

His opposers are retaliating, alleging that it’s a case of the pot calling the kettle black.

Heads must roll, Mr President, and if you are unable to lead or follow, then step aside.

The DA, with its excellent track record of good governance, will lead the way to a corruption-free government, and not deprive millions of South Africans of the honest and equitable dispensation they deserve.
