When you have no case, slate others

-

I DID not find it surprising that Gary James described my writing as “drivel”, (Cape Argus, August 27), since it has become standard practice for macro-evolutionists such as Gary to describe all views that oppose their macro-evolutionary myths as drivel, or even unadulterated drivel.

It is a well known fact that when people like Gary degrade a debate to mud-throwing at a drivel level, they have a very poor case since they have to try and cover their weak case by denigrating the other party’s views as they do not have the necessary facts to support their own case.

Gary, do you think it is at all possible to have a sensible debate without the derogatory accusations that you continually make?

Gary states that according to the Bible, creation took place over six days and not seven days.

He does not state where he gets this false perception from, since all the Bibles I have looked at very clearly state that on the seventh day God created the Sabbath day , which resulted in the seven day week.

This is again confirmed in the fourth of the 10 commandments.

Gary once again propagates the macro-evolutionary myth of the slow and inexplicable journey from the first microbiological sparks that arose solely by chance and per complete accident evolved into the human race of today. This myth is so unbelievable that even pre-schoolers find it difficult to grasp.

For your information Gary, I am an ardent evolutionist. But I am a micro-evolutionist and not a macro-evolutionist such as yourself.
