Consign France to dustbin of history

THE history of French foreign policy is enmeshed in shameful hypocrisy for more than 80 years.

During the 1954-62 war, they brutally killed 1.5 million Algerians in the quest for imperial domination. During July 1942 at the Vel d’Hiv Roundup, 13 000 Jews were seized by French authorities and sent to Nazi gas chambers. France in defiance of world opinion tested atomic weapons in the atmosphere until 1974. Defying the UN, it supplied Mirage warplanes to apartheid South Africa. Its global hypocrisy and double standards defy logic and sanity.

The continued hurtful slander and mockery launched against Prophet Muhammed will never tarnish his legacy.

Prophet Muhammad set a shining example to his people. His character was pure and stainless, he was the only messenger and man in history whose life record is fully preserved for humankind to learn from. He is an embodiment of all the virtues which enunciated in the Qur’an.

He worked with sincerity for the well-being of his fellow human beings, known as “the truthful” (Al-Sidiq) and “the faithful” (Al-Amin). He declared the oneness of God and oneness of mankind, which creates a bond of universal brotherhood. The practical character of his teachings gave birth to the scientific spirit.

The dicta of the prophet in matters of law and religion were inspired and suggested by Allah, through expressed in his own words. Every word the prophet uttered was inspired by providence divulging some hidden truths …

Humankind will never see a man of this calibre. President (Emmanuel) Macron is a misguided hypocrite. The only vice that cannot be forgiven is hypocrisy. Vive La Resistance. Vive la France must be thrown into the dustbin of history. FAROUK ARAIE | Benoni
