SAFETY FIRST

THE province’s Festive Season Safety Plan was launched yesterday at the Huguenot Tunnel on the N1. During the launch Transport MEC Bonginkosi Madikizela revealed structured traffic law enforcement interventions which include effective road safety education, communication and awareness programmes to influence all road users to improve their behaviour. He also used the opportunity to highlight the enforcement of regulations on the applicable Covid-19 lockdown level 1 and some of his department’s Safely Home campaigns that will run over the festive season. |
