Government created this monster

“Wages battle to instensify”, Cape Argus, Monday, November 30, refers.

The fight between the government and public sector unions (state employees) will cause havoc for years to come. The alliance between the governing party and the trade union movement has led to this untenable and unsustainable situation. Because of this unhealthy relationship, the deal struck two years ago was unaffordable even then.

The governing party created the monster they are now trying to slay.
