Co-operation

-

AS THE global community continues to try to deal with the pandemic, BRICS leaders met again to ensure that the group of nations tackled the challenge of Covid-19, writes Wesley Seale. The BRICS group is made up of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. BRICS countries represent more than 26% of the Earth’s landmass, 42% of the global population and nearly a quarter of the GDP. President Cyril Ramaphosa has welcomed the decision to launch a virtual BRICS Vaccine Research and Development Centre. This sends a message that co-operation must be practical and relevant. |
