DUTERTE WON’T CO-OPERATE

PHILIPPINES President Rodrigo Duterte will not co-operate with the International Criminal Court’s probe into the Philippines’ drug war, his lawyer said yesterday, after its judges found the crackdown could be a crime against humanity. ICC judges authorised a probe into Duterte’s antinarcotics campaign, which rights groups estimate has killed tens of thousands of people. Duterte pulled Manila out of th court after it launched a probe, but the ICC said crimes were committed while the Philippines was still a member. |
