FULL-TIME ATTENDANCE CALL

THE South African Human Rights Commission is calling for pupils to go back to class full time. SAHRC commissioner Andre Guam said the Department of Basic Education should work with the departments of Health and Co-operative Governance to ensure that this is implemented. Guam said there was a reduced transmission of the virus at schools owing toteachers being vaccinated, and younger children were also in line for vaccinations. |
